Privacy Policy
TrueHealth Age (the "App"), TrueHealthAge.com (the "Site"), and the TrueHealth Protocols newsletter (collectively, the "Services") are operated by Optimizing Group LLC ("we," "us," "our").
1. Who we are and what these Services do
TrueHealth Age is a free educational wellness app. It asks you a science-backed questionnaire about your daily habits, returns a personalized "True Health Age" score, and provides weekly lifestyle protocols, action plans, and educational content. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose or treat disease, and is not a substitute for medical advice. We are not a healthcare provider. We are not subject to HIPAA. The information you share in the Services is general wellness information, not protected health information ("PHI").
2. Information we collect
2.1 You give us
- Account info: name, email address, password (hashed — we never see it in plaintext), and authentication provider (email, Google, or Apple).
- Quiz answers: your responses to the assessment questions, including categories like skin, strength, digestive, and hormone health.
- Coaching activity: which protocols you selected, weekly check-in answers, and free-text notes you choose to add.
- Newsletter preference: whether you opted in to receive the TrueHealth Protocols newsletter.
2.2 We collect automatically
- Device & technical info: device type (mobile / desktop), operating system, browser user-agent, app version, timestamps.
- Attribution: UTM parameters when you arrive at the Site from a marketing link.
- Email delivery telemetry: when our delivery provider (Resend) reports an email was sent, opened, clicked, bounced, or marked spam.
- Share telemetry: which sharing platform you used when you tap "Share with a friend." We do not record who you sent it to.
2.3 We do not collect
- Geolocation data.
- Contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or other phone-storage content.
- Biometric identifiers.
- Payment card information (the app is free).
- Information from third-party health platforms (Apple Health, Google Fit, Oura, etc.) unless you explicitly connect them in a future release.
3. How we use your information
- Build and personalize your assessment results and weekly protocol.
- Send you the welcome email and coaching emails you signed up for.
- Send you the TrueHealth Protocols newsletter if you opted in.
- Trigger device notifications you've allowed (weekly check-in reminders, daily nudges).
- Detect bugs, prevent abuse, and improve the Services.
- Aggregate anonymized statistics for research and product development. Aggregated data does not identify you personally.
We do not sell your personal information, share your individual health information with advertisers, or use your data to train external machine-learning models.
4. Who sees your information
We use a small number of trusted vendors. Each is bound by their own contractual privacy obligations.

We may also disclose information when required by law, a valid subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, or property.
5. Where your information is stored
Supabase hosts our database in the United States (us-east-1). Resend and Beehiiv operate primarily in the United States. By using the Services you understand and consent to your information being processed in the United States, which may have different data-protection laws than your country of residence.
6. Cookies & local storage
- Authentication cookies / local storage — keep you signed in. Required to use the Services.
- Functional local storage — remember dashboard preferences.
- Analytics — at launch we are not using third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
You can clear cookies and local storage from your browser settings. Doing so will sign you out.
7. Your rights & choices
- Access your data: sign in and view your assessment history.
- Edit your information: account name, password, opted-in flag.
- Export your data: email privacy@optimizinggroup.com and we'll send a JSON export within 30 days.
- Delete your account: tap Delete account in the app's Settings screen, or email privacy@optimizinggroup.com. Deletion removes you from our database within 7 days.
- Opt out of marketing email: every newsletter has an Unsubscribe link in the footer. Coaching emails can be turned off in the app's Settings.
If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, Utah, or another state with comprehensive privacy law, you also have rights to (i) confirm whether we process your data, (ii) correct inaccurate information, (iii) opt out of "sale" or "sharing" (we do neither), and (iv) appeal a denial of your request. Email privacy@optimizinggroup.com with the subject line "Privacy Request — [your state]."
EU/UK/EEA users have rights under GDPR / UK GDPR including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection.
8. Children
The Services are intended for adults age 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA).
9. Security
HTTPS in transit. Encrypted storage at rest. Row-level security policies so signed-in users can only read their own rows. Bcrypt-hashed passwords. If we discover a breach affecting your data we will notify you within 72 hours.
10. Changes to this policy
If we make a material change we'll notify you by email and post the new effective date at the top.
